Last post...for the year!

Had you going for a minute there didn't I?

I'd never leave this blog, I love it too much.

So before 2012 hits here, I thought I should say happy new year and enjoy yourself.

Going from the size of overall readership, I think we have a good sample size in terms of the general population. Chances are, some of you reading this won't make it past next year. Others will have something horrible happen to them. Others will do something horrible to another person. So think, what sort of year will the next one be for you? Haha, let's just ignore the Mayan calendar for a second (note: I am still yet to see the film 2012), and just imagine that life goes on for a bit. But even then, what if you are one of those who die in the next year? How are you going to live your life? Because you never know, it could be you...

As noted in my previous post, the readership here is quite diverse, with the majority of readers coming from the US, and then Australia. I thought that was an interesting breakdown, but even more exciting were the referring keywords - being "Dana Kronenthal" and "Karen Tso boyfriend". Hahaha! I'm quite sure those are some worthy keywords!

What's even more crazy is that the majority of users access this site via Internet Explorer. What the hell?! The world has moved on! Stop living in the 90's! We've moved past Explorer. You don't need to use Chrome, but there are other things out there! Mozilla Firefox, Opera! Hell, even safari! But explorer?! Insane! The world has moved on to bigger, better (and faster) things! But I have to admit, I'll always hold a soft spot for Netscape Navigator. The last few builds of that were definitely way better than anything IE ever had.

Anyway, thought you'd enjoy those snippets of trivia! For now, I'm off to enjoy a quiet night in. Best wishes to the other, who will be joining me from 3 January onwards!

Some interesting posts due in the future. Joaquin out.

A year to contemplate?

2011 hasn't been a great year for most people I know. I wonder why that is? Well here's hoping that 2012 is better around the dial for everyone.

What's married life like? I think it's a lot like single life, except that now there's another person in it! It may sound simple, but it is in actual fact very complicated. They say the first year is the hardest, and I'm inclined to agree. But if things don't get harder then this, then I say we have it relatively easy!

I've been looking at the new tabs in the blogger interface, and the stats tab is absolutely fantastic. We've got quite a diverse range of readership here, and it's all pretty much down to the other's idea (all those years ago now...) to start up a blog randomly, and since then all his design overhauls have resulted in the brilliance that is the current page.

Some more points to come later on. But for now I think it's movie time!

In Hindsight...

It probably wasn't such a good idea to jokingly accuse that well loved actress of being racist on twitter. But at least we've both gotten over it.

After that debacle, I am looking forward to seeing the year out.

I don't know about the rest of you, but 2011 has just not been a good year. Would the other agree with that assessment?

In other news, the other is coming back to town to live and work in 2k12! I'm looking forward to catching up again and jamming like the good ol' days.

What I'm really amazed by is the sheer stillness of this day.

Nothing is moving, I'm not hearing anything.

Am I moving faster than light?

This has been an utterly fail year for the blog, and this time I'm actually quite sorry.

Sorry for me rather than you. I've had a lot to say, but I guess I've been internalising everything and have not made the time to blog. Not even to write shorthand notes so that I can blog about it later. I guess that's the problem with the late 20's - everything you think seems to not be important enough.

All we have to rely on are facts. You have a certain number of them and fill in everything in between with assumptions. And that's where we are lost.

Telling a ratpack full of lies.

I'm all jealous and depressed!

Anyway, that's it for today.

Here's hoping for another entry before the end of the year.

Just resting on the ground...

fantasising about what my rotting corpse will look like.

I'm starting to lose the plot.

That assumes I had a grip on it in the first place.
